Deep Research AI Agents with MCP: Demos from LastMile, ElevenLabs & Dria
Welcome to MCP Agent Silsila Series!Every three weeks, we host live sessions with experts to explore real-world applications of MCP, feature community MCP projects, and demo tools and agents that are pushing MCP to the limit. We hope this series fosters a community of builders to learn, share insights and develop expertise on Model Context Protocol. This session's featured companies are: • Thorsten Schaeff from ElevenLabs • Batuhan Aktas from Dria About the HostThis session is hosted by Sarmad Qadri, CEO of LastMile AI and creator of mcp-agent: a simple, composable framework for building agents using Model Context Protocol (MCP).“Silsila” (سلسلہ) means chain of events in Urdu. We thought it is a fitting name for a gathering of builders, researchers, and developers working on modular, tool-using, agentic systems powered by MCP. (It was also the name we considered before settling on mcp-agent).If you want to demo or speak at our future events email hanieh@lastmileai.dev.
Character Window with StreamDiffusionTD
In this workshop, we’ll break down the Character Window workflow, which combines server-hosted Daydream StreamDiffusionTD with MediaPipe to create a pinch-pulldown window over a person’s face in real time. Here’s how it works: • Pinch-pulldown effect: Triggered by MediaPipe hand tracking, a window overlays the user’s face. • Real-time face replacement: The window displays the output of StreamDiffusionTD, which swaps the user’s face for a prompted visual filter. • Dynamic prompt system: Prompts are pulled from a ChatGPT-generated master list and rotate between three modes: Celebrities, Fantasy Characters, and Animals. We’ll walk through each part of the stack, from hardware and server setup to prompt generation and mode switching, so you can see exactly how these components work together.Project files drop during the event! Join us, scan the QR, and be among the first to unlock them.We will be streaming the event on the following channels:1) Daydream's Discord2) Daydream X
Inside AI Gateway Layers – Building Context-Aware & Resilient Platforms
Enterprise AI is scaling fast — is your stack ready? Today’s GenAI apps run across clouds, models, and tools — and without control, you’re facing outages, runaway costs, and governance gaps. Join us to explore why leading teams are adopting a Gateway Control Plane. We’ll break down the architecture, key pain points, and how gateways unify access, governance, and scale. If any of these resonate, this session is for you: • Struggling with model outages or latency across OpenAI, Gemini, Claude • Need centralized quotas, usage limits, or cost caps per team • Want to host Llama 4 in your VPC — with sub-ms responses • Need one API layer across Bedrock, Azure, and on-prem models • Building toward MCP-powered multi-agent systems It’s time to make your AI stack resilient, secure, and future-ready.
Build a coding agent that fixes bugs using Agno, xpander.ai, and Amazon Bedrock
Frameworks like Agno make it easy to build autonomous AI agents. But shipping a production-ready agent that integrates with your tools, writes usable code, and scales across your environment still takes too much work. In this workshop, you’ll build and deploy a Slack-native coding agent that monitors bug reports (from GitHub Issues or Notion), proposes a fix, and shares it with your team—using the Agno framework, deployed with xpander.ai, and powered by SOTA Models from Amazon Bedrock / OpenAI or Anthropic. What You’ll Build An agent that can: • Watch GitHub Issues or a Notion bug board for new reports • Parse and understand bug descriptions • Generate and test a code patch using Bedrock models or Codex as a tool • Post the proposed fix in Slack for review • Run in the cloud with secure, observable infrastructure Agenda Session 1: Demo (30 min) David Twizer, xpander.ai How production-grade coding agents work We’ll walk through a live agent that watches for bugs and...
